I have booked the Yongsan Football Field (Turf) from 9am ~ 12pm this Sunday the 8th. It’s close to Sotae Station on the way to Hwa-soon. See Map Link at the end of Post. I’m hoping to play full pitch 11-a-side.

Game starts at 10:30am
30 min halfs with 10 minute break + injury time
Should be done by noon.
Eat lunch together at Lotteria. (It’s on ME)
Go to Gaerim again ^^

Some of you have played the kids and I’ll bring some older guys as well. And I’ll be playing on Moodeung Children’s Home team so it won’t be an easy game. I’m not saying it’s cuz of me… but I’m just saying… not easy!

Well, this would mean a lot for our kids and hopefully it would for everyone else as well.

Hopefully, we’ll have enough people and the weather is going to be cooler than playing at 1pm~3pm ^^

Gary has organised a league on the premier league fantasy football site.  The number that you need to put in to join the league is 572275 158411. Choose your team and then you are good to go.  I think you can change your team as much as you want before the start of the season (Aug 14th) but after that there are   point penalties for changing it too much.  There was talk of having 10000won in each but talk about it at football this sunday.

A second league at a website to predict the score has also be set-up.  the number is FC526EYC. 

I’m going to Blighty tomorrow and won’t be at football for three weeks.  Call Andy if you have any questions and ask gary if interested in the fantasy football.

This following sunday is the trip to Busan.  Unfortunately I can’t go because I have to do a camp at my school that day.  So Andy will be in charge for the weekend.

We need to know if you can go to Busan.  The tournament starts at 10am so the team will have to leave on friday night.  Could you please leave a comment here to say if you are going or not.  If you are going then please tell us what time you could leave on Friday so we know when to get the tickets for.  This list will be used to know how many tickets to buy so if you don’t have your name here you won’t be bought a ticket. 

If you really can’t work out how to leave a comment then send me a message and I will add you to the list.

Wilf has managed to book the Chosun Uni pitch from 1-3pm on July 10th.  We will play against ourselves so I hope to have at least 22 players out.  Keep this date free so we can have a good game.

We are probably going to go out for a drink and something to eat later on.  We can discuss what we will do at the game.

For any new guys who don’t know where Chosun Uni is, you can tell a taxi driver 조선대학교 전문.  that will get you to the front gate.  Walk up towards the mountain and the big long white building.  you should walk past a pond with a fountain and then be able to see a rose garden.  Walk up that small embankment and you should be able to see the football pitches.  We will be on the far side and we should be easy to find.  Call me if you have any problems.

First another successful weekend of football.  We won two games and that has qualified the team for something else.  I don’t know what it means either but when I get some info I’ll let you know.

Secondly I will pay the entrance fee for the busan tournament today.  The tournament is on July 17th.  See the earlier post for all the info I know.

Lastly this week we will be at Gye-rim again.  I’m looking forward to just playing some football and not having to make any decisions.

Got a email from someone in Busan asking if we want to be in a tournament.  Below is the flyer that was sent to me.  what do people think, should we go?  Busan is a long way to play games with 15 min halves.

There is no tournament this weekend so we will be back at Gye-rim from 1-3pm.  might not be the best football being played because the England v USA game is the night before.  I think that most of the team will be watching the game at Speakeasy.  The game starts at 3:30am so maybe I’ll see some of you down there.

Secondly, congratulations to team again for winning its third tournament in a row.  It wasn’t quite the same beautiful football that we saw a few weeks ago, but everybody worked hard to recover from a bad saturday and being 2-0 down in the final.  The trophy is in speakeasy but I believe its too big for the cabinet.

•   The team who finishes last in the league has to play Posco 67 on Sunday to decide 3^rd and 4^th seeds for the semi-finals

•    Knockout games will go to 10 minute per half golden goal extra time plus penalty kicks if needed

• All knockout games are on a grass field
